Honor Percussion

I first made these mallets for the Boston Symphony and have been adjusting them over several years based on the needs and feedback of the BSO section. 

They are built with various tape cores and covered with many layers of thin felts and fleeces. I use steel shafts that are much heavier than other brands available.  

These mallets are time-intensive to build, but I believe the multiple layers and heavier weights make for a superior sound. They are direct and full of pitch across the dynamic range. I make every mallet by hand.
